STI/STD
Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) are very common. STDs are caused by STIs that have been passed from one person to another during sexual contact. If you have been sexually active you may already have a STI and not know it. Once an STI produces symptoms it is then referred to as an STD. If you have had sexual contact without using condoms or other barriers your risk is heightened.
Contracting an STI can have lifelong effects on your health and well being.
Our staff at LC Clinic can help answer your questions about STIs, explain how to reduce your chances of contracting an STI, and offer STI testing.
All of our services are free and strictly confidential.

- Young people (ages 15-24) are particularly affected, accounting for half (50 %) of all new STIs, although they represent just 25 % of the sexually experienced population.
